Mamma Mia Tour

  • Our day sets off at 09.00 driving up the beautiful West coast of the island and then across to visit the beautiful Ag.Ioannis Chapel – also known as the MAMMA MIA wedding church. There you get some free time to walk up the 199 steps to the top and get into the MAMMA MIA movie feeling or simply enjoy the stunning views and the cooling sea breeze from the top of the rock. On our drive towards the Kastani Beach, we shall have the chance to understand all about the Skopelos virgin olive oil, by taking a short stop by the Stamatiou olive press.

    Second stop is at Kastani beach for more in depth film information and some relaxation at the new Kastani beach bar. Major filming took place for more than 10 days at the Kastani, and this beautiful beach proved to be the perfect film location.

    Our next stop will be at Agnontas beach where you can swim in the crystal clear waters or choose to enjoy lunch in one of the beach tavernas. Driving back from that area  we will get to see from some distance the cape of Amarandos , the co called 3 tree location. Return time back to Skopelos town will be around 15:00hrs.

Alonissos Cruise Tour

  • “PLANITIS” a  unique wooden  boat on Sporades islands, is our boat to explore the idyllic Aegean sea and swim in its crystal waters…So “Relax your day”, it’s a Lazy Day.

    At 09:30am you leave Skopelos port and you sail around Peristera island, into the National Marine Park.
    Peristera (means dove) is an island situated in a short distance, on the west of Alonissos. Peristera is an uninhabited island. Underwater archaeological research has brought to light, an old shipwreck along with a series of other archaeological findings revealing that Sporades islands had always been an important sea route since ancient times. There are many caves around the island where the Mediterranean monk seal “Monachus-monachus” safely lives.
    If you’re lucky enough you will see seals and dolphins….

    During your trip you will have the chance to pass by the “Two brothers” rock islands and via the idyllic seaside of Alonissos you will arrive to “Saint Dimitrios” beach, the most beautiful beach in Alonnisos with pebbles, crystal clear waters and beautiful greenery. You will also be given enough time to swim and enjoy sea and sun….

    You will arrive to Patitiri, the harbor of Alonissos -where you will have free time here appr. 2 hours
    You can walk to Patitiri to enjoy a drink or visit the Alonissos Museum in Patitiri, a four-storey building, located at a distance of only 30 meters from the harbour of Patitiri a museum which gave place to the cultural inheritance of the island. In addition to the historical items from Alonissos, the museum focuses on weapons and objects used in the early days by the pirates of the Aegean Sea.

    At approximately 17:30 you will be at Skopelos port.

Secret Skopelos

  • Our adventure through the Mamma Mia island’s historical town begins when we leave Skopelos town and cross the coastal road that leads to Panagitsa of Pirgos church (devoted to Virgin Mary and located in a fortress).

    We make a short stop at the church for a 10 minute break to enjoy the panoramic view of the settlement and the north Aegean. Then continue walking inside of the old town of Peparethos city (Peparethos was the ancient name of Skopelos) and the venetian castle where the ruins are still visible, and you can notice the different phases from ancient years to venetian domination.

    After passing the castle’s steps we walk inside the traditional settlement of the island and explore the different architectural phases during the centuries.

    During our walking we will have the opportunity to taste local products.

    The final destination of our route is Vakratsa Museum, a traditional local lord house, where you will learn about the local culture of the 19th and 20th century.

    Remember to wear a hat, sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water and your camera to capture the panoramic view and the traditional settlement!

Natural Tour of  Skopelos

  • Our adventure through the most green island begins when we leave Skopelos town from the Dolphin of Skopelos office at 9am for a 20-minutes minibus drive into the hills and the start of this easy monderate  hike from the area of  Pirgos , “Pirgos” in Greek  means the tower or fortress.

    The route appr. 5 km  is a pleasant downhill track, walking through the breathtaking scenery filled with olive, cypress and Aleppo pine trees – estimates reckon that Skopelos has between five and eight million pines – and a variety of flowers and plantation.

    We make a short stop at the small remote church of the Panagitsa (Virgin Mary) for a ten minute break, and then continue our stroll down towards the mesmerizing view of Skopelos’s famous blue sea.  So while hiking with the eyes on the destination, our walk will also include views of Pelion on the Greek mainland and Northern Greece with Halkidiki from the other side, and in the middle the islands of the Northern Sporades.

    The final destination of our route is Panormos Beach, where you have the option to either relax on the beach or take part in water sports activities and aqua-aerobic  either in the sea or out of it.
