Day trip from Naxos to Delos & Mykonos

  • Sail the Archipelagos from Naxos and visit the uninhabited island of Delos, to explore the most sacred of all the Greek islands in ancient times.

    Get free time to wander around the impressive ruins, imagine ancient Greeks wandering around, and admire the excavated artifacts in the small museum.

    Hiring a private professional licensed guide once you enter the archaeological site will upgrade your experience.

     You can also join one of the groups formed on the spot to spare some cash by sharing the same guide.

    Afterward, cruise to the posh island of Mykonos with free time to take advantage of.

  • After arriving at the port of Athinios, a bus will be waiting for you.
    The first place you will visit is Oia. As you explore the narrow alleys, you will stumble upon breathtaking views of dreamy Cycladic whitewashed houses. The village is situated on the top of an impressive cliff and offers a spectacular view.

    Oia has several cultural attractions like the Byzantine castle ruins, Oia Art Gallery, Cape Columbo, and Domaine Sigalas.
    The second stop is Fira, the capital of Santorini, which is located in the middle of the island, opposite the volcano.

    Fira has a unique natural beauty and is the most cosmopolitan settlement on the island. Apart from the museums and galleries like the Archaeological Museum of Thera, the Museum of Prehistoric Thera, the Art of The Loom Gallery, and Orion Art Gallery, Fira boasts the island’s largest shopping center.

  • Koufonisia consists of two islands (Up part & Down Part), but only there is residents (in the Up part of the island).

    The island is famous for its beautiful beaches with crystal clear turquoise waters.

    Enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes and stay for about 8 hours. It’s enough time to swim, walk around, and explore.

    Stroll in the town (Chora) and admire the white-washed houses with blue windows. We recommend you rent a bike and find the treasures of this lovely island. Don’t miss lunch in the traditional fish taverns.

    From the port, small boats can take you across the inhabited Kato Koufonissi, or on a round trip to the beautiful beaches with azure waters.

Kitron distillery tour with food and drinks – discover kitron: a unique naxian liquor

  • This is a tour that will teach you how the local Kitron liquor is produced. A unique and delicious liquor with a very long history in Naxos.

    The tour takes place in English or Greek.

    • Firstly, to begin you’ll get a short tour of the Promponas estate, where Kitron trees are grown
    • Your friendly guide Sophia will explain the historical background of Naxian Kitron fruits
    • After this, you will visit the distillery and learn how the local spirit is made, and watch a short video

    At the end of the tour, there is a small buffet. It is included in the price. You will try various kinds of citrus fruit and traditional Naxian marzipan, covered in smooth, dark chocolate, Kitron-flavored “halvadopita” and dried Kitron fruit. Naxian ouzo, a must for any lover of Greek things, can also be enjoyed with olives, breadsticks, a different kind “ntakos” and a wide variety of homemade fruit preserves.

  • Hora, the local name for Mykonos town, is located on the western side of the island and is the glamorous capital of the island with the famous “Little Venice”, where you can take your coffee or a cocktail with the unique view of the windmills and the sea washing your feet.

    Explore the narrow, cobbled alleys and traditional whitewashed houses with the beautiful bougainvillea’s hanging everywhere around.
    Premium brand shops and trendy stores at Matoyannia street are unique for such a small island and feature hate couture pieces and pricey watches.

One day cruise from Naxos to Iraklia and Koufonissi

 

  • Sail from Naxos to two of the Lesser Cyclades and lay back on the tiny island of Iraklia. Stay for 1.5 hours, enough time to swim, walk around and discover the natural port of Agios Georgios and its surroundings.

    On the next stop, visit the tranquil island of Ano Koufonissi which gets more and more popular year after year.
    Relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in Greece and swim in the crystal-clear waters that resemble the Caribbean.

    Stroll in the narrow alleys of the small town (Hora) and admire the whitewashed houses with blue windows. Borrow a book from the small library next to the beach or leave one of yours.
    We recommend renting a bike and exploring the treasures of this lovely island. Don’t miss lunch at one of the traditional fish taverns.

    From the harbor, small boats (sea taxis) can take you across the inhabited Kato Koufonisi nearby, or costa-costa to explore more beaches.
